Origami Frog
Step 1
Having paper with white side facing up, fold in half horizontally (hamburger-style).
Step 2
Unfold the paper, then fold in half vertically (hotdog-style).
Step 3
Fold the paper once again vertically, then unfold.
Step 4
Grab the right corner of the paper and fold it towards the halfway crease made in step 1; make sure to crease this fold well, then unfold it.
Step 5
Repeat the fold with the left corner; crease well, then unfold.
Step 6
Turn the paper over, and fold the upper edge down towards the halfway crease on the paper made in step 1; crease it well, then unfold.
Step 7
Turn it back over.
Step 8
Grab the two upper-middle folds on the left and right side of the paper, then pinch together.
Step 9
Grab the top edge of the paper and fold down to form a triangle.
Step 10
Fold the lower half of the paper up towards the center crease.
Step 11
Fold the left side of the paper towards the center, making sure to fold behind the front triangle so it overlaps the fold.
Step 12
Repeat for the right side of the paper.
Step 13
Fold the paper upwards toward the center crease.
Step 14
After the previous fold, grab the top left corner and fold it diagonally towards the center to form a triangle; crease it well then unfold.
Step 15
Repeat fold for right corner; crease it well and unfold.
Step 16
On the left side, grab the inner flap of that fold and pull it outwards, similar to making the base of a paper boat.
Step 17
Repeat for the right side of the paper.
Step 18
Fold the left side of the "boat base" diagonally so the corner faces downwards.
Step 19
Repeat for the right side.
Step 20
On the upper half of the paper figure, grab the right triangle corner and fold it diagonally upwards to make one of the front legs.
Step 21
Repeat for the left corner, making the left front leg.
Step 22
On the lower half, grab one of the bottom corners and fold diagonally outwards to form the lower leg.
Step 23
Repeat with the other corner to form the other leg.
Step 24
Fold the lower half of the figure upwards over the upper half.
Step 25
With the lower half still folded over the upper half, fold it downwards halfway to create the "jumping" fold.
Done!
You have now finished creating the jumping frog! Flip the frog over so it stands up, and by pressing on the back folds, you can make the frog jump.
