Origami Tulip

Step 1

Start with a square piece of origami paper.

Fold the upper left corner to the lower right corner and then unfold.

Fold the upper right corner to the lower left corner and then unfold.

Fold the top half backwards and then unfold.

In the center of the paper, poke a finger to make it pop inwards.

Push together the left and the right creases to the center of the paper. This will make the paper form into a triangle.

Fold the left and right corners to the top corner.

Turn the figure over.

Fold the side corners to the top corner.

Fold only the top layer of the right side over to the left.

Turn the figure over.

Fold only the top layer of the right side over to the left again.

Push the right flap all the way to the left flap using the top layer only.

Turn the figure over.

Push the right flap all the way to the left flap using the top layer only again.

Pick up the tulip from the bottom which and spread the flaps.

Blow into the bottom part of the tulip and make it puff up.

Peel and push down the petals.

Done!

Insert the stem into the bottom part of the tulip as a holder. You just made your own origami tulip!
